David Dobrik is a Slovakian-born American actor, YouTuber, and social media personality. He gained early recognition on the video app Vine. His acting credits include An Interrogation, FML, and Airplane Mode. He won the 2017 Shorty Award for Vlogger of the Year. Dobrik was born on July 23, 1996, in Kosice, Slovakia. He was raised in Chicago, Illinois. Dobrik has three siblings, Sara, Toby, and Ester.
CAREER
Dobrik created his Vine account at the age of 16. His first video was posted to the app in April 2013. He amassed more than 1 million followers Prior to the app shutting down in 2017. Dobrik joined YouTube in December 2014 and posted his first video “Drove Cross Country for In-N-Out” in February 2015. His channel has grown to 4+ million subscribers with over 900 million video views. Selected videos from his channel include “He Snuck Into My House” and “Surprising My Girlfriend With a New Tesla”.
