Ace Hardy is a Jamaican-American artist, author, and entrepreneur. Ace was born in Philadelphia, PA as “Carl Hardy”. Ace’s last name was later changed to Thomas Jr at the age of 4. He graduated from Germantown High School in Philadelphia before its permanent closing in June of 2013. Ace then earned his college degree by attending the Community College of Philadelphia as well as Drexel University. During his years in college, Ace would spend his time working with artists, actors, and models through talent management, as well as audio engineering and film production. After graduation, he decided to pursue his career by launching his motivational brand “BossModeLifestyle.”

CAREER
Ace started out modeling, doing poetry, and motivational speaking. He’s been writing music, poetry, and drawing since the age of 10. In mid-2017 he decided to share his talents by turning them into a full-time business. Ace released his first official music video “Fall Back” in July of 2018; followed by “First Date”, “Smoke” “Bring Life”, “Yes You Can”, “Light Work”, “Love”, “Wine for Me” and many more.

Ace also wrote and published his first book “Self Love is the Key”, which was released in March of 2018. He figured since he’s recognized for his philanthropic speeches and quotes, it would be best for him to publish a self-help book. His book was created to motivate, inspire, and encourage his viewers and listeners to follow their dreams by making the right choices in life through the actions of love and self-care.

Ace’s motivational brand “BossModeLifestyle”(BML) was established in April of 2017 under “Hardy Studios”, which was established in June of 2014. Ace has collaborated with many creatives under BML to promote the welfare of others through motivation and inspiration. Before the speeches and music, Ace has modeled for commercial clothing companies between the years 2011 and 2015. He established a large following because of it at the time.

PERSONAL
Ace has a passion for non-fiction books, knowledge distribution, science, philosophy, philanthropy, fitness, and health. Ace is a self-proclaimed “autodidact”. Ace believes that one should continue to seek knowledge even after earning a degree. Ace began writing poetry and drawing at a young age to escape his poor environment. His mother attempted to care for her children, but due to domestic issues, she was separated from them. Ace was left with moving house to house to find a stable home, but never could. His little brother and sister remained with their father all their childhood. Ace later reunited with his mother after running away from his father at the age of 16.

Ace’s musical style has been influenced through his cultural upbringing, being a mixture of dancehall/hip-hop/rap/afro-beat, and pop. Ace’s father being a Jamaican from Spanish Town, JA, and his mother is of Native American descent from Philadelphia, PA. As a child whenever his mother and father would play dancehall/reggae music, Ace would sing and dance along to it. Being raised around Jamaicans and Americans is what helped him form his style of music. Ace is also a big fan and supporter of the late Tupac Shakur. Tupac played a major role in Ace’s life through his ways of motivation and inspiration. Ace feels that it’s only right to continue the cycle and do the same for this generation and the next, by leading those in need of his help and being a productive member of society.
