Brian Brown Easley served in the Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal before 2005, when he retired. As a part of the Marine, the veteran served as a supply clerk in Kuwait and Iraq.
After his honorable discharge after his service in the Marine in 2005, he returned to Georgia to his mother, where the war left him with mental illness and long-term pain in his back.
Young Brian met his wife at a local Walmart and married her, later having a daughter together.
Despite his valuable service to the nation, the nation left him with nothing but a measly amount in the name of a monthly disability check from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
After desperation from his poor economic condition and his mental health took a toll on him with no one to depend on, Easley tried to rob a bank and died after being shot by a police officer.
