HAMMOND, La. (WVUE) - Several suspects are wanted in connection to two vehicle thefts from a wrecker yard that occurred last month, Tangipahoa Sheriff Daniel Edwards said.
According to Edwards, the suspects broke into the lot of Big Wheel Wrecker Service on Club Deluxe Road on the night of Dec. 22, 2023, and stole two vehicles.
The suspects were seen on security footage driving “donuts” in the parking lot with one of the stolen vehicles. Edwards said that both of the vehicles stolen from the lot were found crashed and abandoned in Tangipahoa Parish.
The suspects seen in the footage have yet to be identified.
Edwards said that there is a white Ford Bronco seen on the footage that is believed to be the vehicle that dropped the suspects off at the property.
